Heterodox Social Science Research Award

The Centre is proud to announce the launch of a major new research award supporting bold, high-quality post-progressive scholarship that challenges the intellectual monoculture in today’s social sciences.

Purpose:

  • Reviving marginalised inquiry neglected or suppressed by prevailing orthodoxies.
  • Advancing rigorous, evidence-based study of cultural left ideology and its consequences.

Scope:
We welcome proposals from across disciplines — sociology, political science, psychology, history, anthropology, economics, education, and related fields. Projects may include:

  • Empirical testing of claims central to Social Justice ideology.
  • Historical or comparative analysis of cultural and ideological movements.
  • Studies of under-examined social phenomena discouraged by progressive conformity.
  • Critical examinations of institutional policies and practices shaped by ideological bias.

Award Details:

  • Value: Up to £100,000 (single project or multiple awards).
  • Duration: 6–24 months.
  • Eligibility: Open to individual researchers or teams worldwide.
  • Outputs: Publishable research with broad dissemination.
